The Way of Hope
Together, we can solve the problem of Homelessness and help provide much needed Affordable, Decent, Safe and Sanitary Housing...
Most nonprofits and humanitarian groups struggle with the same kinds of issues. Chief among those problems, in practically every instance, is an unstable and insufficient source of funding. So, they almost always resort to doing what is practical, or that they absolutely have to do, which is to try to help the few people they can while also trying to survive themselves. Their efforts and goals are usually quite admirable. However, such operational tactics are altogether ineffective when it comes to solving the largest problems that humans face, like hunger or food insecurity, a lack of proper shelter, inadequate medical care, and little or no access to clean water.
Being able to address issues of that magnitude undoubtedly requires the involvement of The Church. Sadly, most nonprofits and humanitarian groups, even those lovingly run by people of Faith, tend to look at the Body of Christ with a rather myopic view. All too often, they just look around and see local church fellowships, instead of The Church as a whole. That naturally leads to the treatment of all the local church gatherings around town as segregated resources having little more value than an untapped checkbook.
We believe there is a better way – a more Rock Solid way – to tackle such problems. That way is together. In other words, “the Konkrete Way.” So, the Konkrete Company and its Colleagues are setting out to help The Church get more involved in addressing these kind of issues in a much more significant manner, starting with the problems of homelessness and the lack of affordable housing which plague not only this nation, but the world.
A large, national team of 40,000 Colleagues, all with a God-given heart to minister to others in need, is being assembled for this effort, which we call “The Way of Hope.” As faithful members of The Church, this team will work together with the Konkrete Company and all of our many Colleagues to help gather and bring to bear all of the creativity, innovation, planning, financial resources, human resources, logistical support, and implementation power that is needed to properly address the issues of homelessness and the lack of affordable housing. By working together, we will all be able to accomplish that in a significant, honorable and loving manner.
Nobody but The Church will ever be able to do this successfully (not even a bigger, more socialistic government), much less do so righteously, with great honor and integrity. So, subscribe TODAY to The Way of Hope team, and become part of the Godly solution to these issues that is so desperately needed. Together, we can and will make a huge difference in this world for Christ!
The fact is that this possibility can easily be our reality, even when taking up such massive and seemingly impossible tasks as this. Yes, it takes much more than money to minister Love and Grace to even one homeless individual or family. It also takes time, patience, faithfulness and all of the other spiritual gifts of The Church. But, that is not a problem for us. All of those characteristics are naturally born out of God’s Holy Spirit dwelling in us as His Children – not just as Christians, but as the employers, housing professionals, doctors and nurses, lawyers, and all the other wonderfully Blessed and talented people that make up The Church as a whole. Therefore, if we properly involve The Church, we will find that we already have all the resources we need to help our Brothers and Sisters in Christ, and all of mankind, truly LIVE.
Be Blessed!
6“Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen: to loose the chains of injustice and untie the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free and break every yoke? 7Is it not to share your food with the hungry and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter—when you see the naked, to clothe them, and not to turn away from your own flesh and blood? 8Then your light will break forth like the dawn, and your healing will quickly appear; then your righteousness will go before you, and the glory of the Lord will be your rear guard.
[Isaiah 58:6-8; NIV; Emphasis added.]
31He that oppresseth the poor reproacheth his Maker: but he that honoureth him hath mercy on the poor.
[Proverbs 14:31; KJV]
14What use is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone says he has faith, but he has no works? Can that faith save him? 15If a brother or sister is without clothing and in need of daily food, 16and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and be filled,” yet you do not give them what is necessary for their body, what use is that? 17In the same way, faith also, if it has no works, is dead, being by itself.
[James 2:14-17; NASB; Emphasis added.]
15Give to him who asks you, and from him who wants to borrow from you do not turn away.
[Matthew 5:42; NKJV]
35“If your brother becomes destitute and cannot sustain himself among you, you are to support him as a foreigner or temporary resident, so that he can continue to live among you. 36Do not profit or take interest from him, but fear your God and let your brother live among you.
